This is so cool. Thank you for sharing!
I’m smoking weed about it.

There’s plenty of stuff that isn’t tech there but I don’t use it much for general browsing and chat. We host rooms on SXC for some of our communities and the instance itself as a means of communication off Lemmy. Most of my time is spent in those rooms interacting with people I’ve met on Lemmy or random people who find our rooms on SXC lol.
It does but not all of them are out in the open to discover. Part of how SXC works is based around not being discoverable if you don’t want to be.
There is an official directory with quite a few rooms and some unofficial ones for things that aren’t allowed on the main directory for whatever reason. I would say the overall size is much smaller than even Matrix but there are some pretty large and active rooms that cover a fair bit of tech and general topics. It’s not perfect but I prefer it to Matrix.
We use SimpleX chat. It isn’t as popular as Matrix but the security is better and we run into fewer traffickers there than on Matrix.
No worries mate. It’s easy to put the plants on a pedestal and forget what they are when you care about them so much. Of course damage has been done and it’s a substantial setback, but I don’t think all is lost. I sent you a message on SXC if you want to chat there.
It’s a weed, not an orchid. Given the chance to survive they usually do.
I think you’ve got a good chance of saving them, especially since they are photos. They’re being subjected to extreme stress that would likely herm autos as they would still be recovering at the same time they’d be transitioning. You’ve still got a long growing season left, plenty of time for photos to bounce back and relax a bit before flower. I’d still watch them like a hawk for stress herming, but I think the odds are in your favor to save them.
Are they photoperiod plants? As long as they have a reasonable root structure left they’ll likely survive if you plonk them back in the ground.
There are always lessons to learn mate 😉
What did you do last year? Did it work or did you have problems? Do that/don’t do that as you see fit.
Love it!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful plant!
I was debating whether or not I should even post this because it looks so sad, but decided that if I get good feedback then it’s worth the embarrassment.
Why be embarrassed? Caring about your plants is a good thing.
Any ideas what the heck is wrong with this? I just moved it to the ground, where I have really good soil, so I’m hoping it recovers on its own
Walk back this plant’s history in your head and you’ll find your answers. When did it start looking sad? What were the variables like? How did the condition progress? Now that you’re seeing improvements follow the same line of investigation- What happened that allowed improvement? What variables changed from where it was to where it is now? You say you moved it to a spot with good soil, was it in poor quality soil before? Not enough nutrients, poor drainage, etc etc? There are almost always clues leading up to disaster. Listen to what she’s telling you before she has to shout! 💚
Very cool
If it makes you happy who cares what the peanut gallery has to say. You could always dig them up and replant them to get a head start on this year.
I knew this was going to be you before I looked at the name lmao
Dig a 50ft hole and throw the whole pack in or whatever else you want mate. Don’t let the packet tell you how to live.
Perhaps that the quantity of seeds in the pack will plant a 50ft row if planted as directed?
What a stunner! You should be proud! Thanks for sharing. 💚
